Construction Manager

About the role

An experienced Construction Manager is sought in Georgetown, Guyana, to oversee and coordinate construction activities from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader who delivers high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage construction projects from start to finish
• Supervise on-site operations, subcontractors and labour teams
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and safety compliance
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders
• Resolve issues and delays to keep project timelines on track
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and legal requirements
• Report progress and project updates to senior management

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials and project management principles
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Procore and AutoCAD
• OSHA certification or equivalent (an asset)
