Mobile Crusher Operator

About the role

The Oko Gold Project is looking for a Mobile Crusher Operator to run mobile crushing and screening equipment that produces high-quality aggregates for construction and mining operations at the Oko West project. The position is based at the project site, with a 14 days on / 7 days off schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mobile crushing and screening plants according to production targets and safety standards.
• Carry out daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on crushing equipment.
• Load, move and feed material using front-end loaders or excavators as required.
• Monitor material quality and adjust crusher settings to meet specifications.
• Report equipment faults, hazards and maintenance needs promptly.
• Work with the production team to reach daily output targets.
• Keep the work area clean and organised, including dust control and spill management, and store tools and materials safely.
• Follow safety protocols, take part in daily toolbox meetings and support a safety-first culture.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous labour or industrial experience (mining, construction, forestry or similar) is an asset.
• Proven experience operating mobile crushing and screening equipment.
• Knowledge of aggregate production processes and material specifications.
• Physical fitness to work in a quarry or construction environment.

Required skills

• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and within a small, high-performing team.
