Assurance Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking an Assurance Associate to join its audit and assurance team in Guyana. You will work on financial statement audits, providing independent assessments of financial information, internal controls, and regulatory compliance for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement due to fraud or error.
• Perform audit procedures, evaluate internal controls, and document findings.
• Prepare and issue auditor’s reports that include the audit opinion.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to address audit issues and deliver high‑quality work.
• Continuously develop commercial awareness and understand client business processes.
