Human Resource Manager

About the role

Bpi Guyana Inc. is recruiting a Human Resource Manager based in Guyana. The role plans, directs, manages and oversees the implementation and administration of the Company's and Group's HR strategies, policies, programmes and practices so that its goals and objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a strategic process to define and implement the organisation's culture
• Manage recruitment, including helping line managers identify vacancies, interview and select applicants for temporary and permanent positions
• Manage staff benefits and entitlements in line with corporate strategy
• Coach, counsel and train employees; handle disputes, terminations and disciplinary procedures
• Investigate employee complaints and resolve them swiftly and amicably
• Manage the compensation structure and design incentive, reward and recognition programmes
• Develop and run the performance management system, career planning, succession planning and talent retention strategies
• Oversee the Training and Development programme and the HRIS, keeping records and data accurate
• Maintain the policy and procedure manual and supervise HR staff

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field; postgraduate degree an asset
• At least 5 years of HR experience, including 3 at managerial level
• Industrial relations experience is an asset
• Legally authorised to work in Guyana and able to relocate at own expense
