Production Technician - FPSO Prosperity

About the role

The Production Technician operates plant process and utility systems effectively and safely on the FPSO Prosperity in Georgetown, Guyana. Procedures must be followed at all times, and O&M contractor and local regulatory compliance must be met in every aspect of the work. The technician also facilitates routine maintenance through isolation and reinstatement.

Key responsibilities

• Start up, operate, monitor and shut down process and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot to maximise sales quality and delivery volume by identifying problems.
• Carry out all operations in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
• Advise maintenance personnel on the hazards of plant and equipment.
• Control the activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.
• Ensure vendors and subcontractors understand and comply with current environmental regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience and/or qualification to N/SVQ Hydrocarbon Processing Level 2 or a similar level from the country of origin.
• 3 years' experience of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Medically fit to offshore international standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ESD F&G and DCS operation.
• Good understanding of Permit to Work, mechanical isolation standards and risk assessment.
