Sales Executive

About the role

As the Sales Executive for UMS Guyana, you will be the face of the SANY brand, delivering cutting‑edge heavy‑machinery solutions to the country’s infrastructure, mining, oil & gas and construction sectors. You will act as a trusted consultant, helping project managers and business owners select the right equipment to maximise ROI and support Guyana’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across mining (gold, bauxite), oil & gas and civil construction, conducting site visits to assess environmental challenges.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads using CRM tools and perform technical product demonstrations for excavators, cranes and port machinery.
• Prepare detailed commercial proposals, including Total Cost of Ownership and ROI analysis, and negotiate high‑value contracts.
• Coordinate with finance for equipment leasing/financing options and ensure seamless after‑sales support with Service and Parts departments.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing and product performance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in heavy machinery, automotive or industrial equipment.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Guyana’s mining and construction landscape.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, able to engage both site foremen and executive boards.
