Offshore Pump Operator

About the role

The Pump Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, testing and supporting pumping systems used during offshore coiled tubing and well intervention operations. The role ensures that pumping equipment runs safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pumping equipment during offshore coiled tubing and well intervention operations.
• Perform equipment rig-up, rig-down, inspection, maintenance and function testing.
• Operate HT400 ACE pumping systems and N2 equipment.
• Support bulk heading and pumping operations according to approved procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities immediately; assist with troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections, and maintain operational records, maintenance logs and equipment reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and client operational standards, and take part in safety meetings and emergency drills.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of offshore Pump Operator experience.
• Completion of Service Operator Competencies or equivalent industry certification.
• OPITO HUET certification and CA-EBS certification.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Experience operating HT400 (ACE System) pumping equipment.
• Experience operating nitrogen (N2) pumping equipment.
• Nice to have: strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge, ability to troubleshoot pumping equipment, good communication and teamwork skills, and a strong commitment to HSE standards.
