Onshore Ground Transportation Coordinator

About the role

The Onshore Ground Transportation Coordinator assists with overseeing and managing the company's onshore fleet of vehicles. The role also covers helping develop and run maintenance schedules and onboarding activities, managing assigned personnel, and supporting project scope development and vendor identification.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a fleet inventory of all company vehicles, including make, model and purchase date.
• Ensure every company vehicle is properly insured and registered.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to arrange maintenance and repair services and follow up on service obligations in a timely way.
• Keep records of fuel usage and mileage for each vehicle.
• Communicate with vendors about service appointments for each vehicle.

Required profile

• University diploma in a relevant field such as facilities management, logistics or business administration.
• Proven experience in logistics or management, preferably in a similar industry or organisation of comparable size.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle management and maintenance procedures, insurance regulations and health and safety protocols.
• Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and manage personnel.

Required skills

• Very good command of word processing, spreadsheets and databases (Microsoft Suite).
