Materials Handler

About the role

The Materials Handler will support the Warehousing/Logistics function for Oceaneering Group Enterprise in Georgetown. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials and equipment, as well as conducting inventory cycle counts. Candidates must be willing to travel outside Guyana when required.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods from suppliers, offshore sites, and worksites and organize them in the warehouse by location.
• Pick items for shipping onshore, offshore, and internationally, and prepare shipments to worksites.
• Book out equipment and spares to workshop personnel and job sites.
• Support cycle counts, stock taking, and participate in audits as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment and undertake new assignments.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Required skills

• Forklift qualification.
• Experience handling dangerous goods by sea.
