Operations Quality Specialist

About the role

The Operations Quality Specialist in Georgetown, Guyana focuses on preventing and mitigating risks to personnel, assets, the environment and the company's reputation. The role ensures compliance with standards, rules and requirements set by the company, regulators, clients and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Apply Quality and Regulatory Policy across operations and promote and maintain Management Systems
• Manage audits according to the Area Audit Plan and lead internal and external verifications, audits and corrective actions
• Manage deviations and mitigating measures, and contribute to vendor and sub-contractor qualification
• Drive continuous improvement in local operations and perform or support incident investigations
• Maintain regional content for the GEMS View for Operations portal and set up and manage Country Fleet operating manuals
• Consolidate and report data, coordinate feedback on the Cost of Non-Quality from offshore units, and plan and follow up on assurance activities
• Ensure documentation management onshore and offshore and the effective use of Management Systems
• Contribute to training and communication on Management Systems and Quality

Required profile

• Relevant university degree with a focus on Quality Management
• 3+ years of experience with quality processes and tools in Oil & Gas or related industries such as Naval
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel occasionally to operating locations
• Strong organizational, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
