Measurement Technician for Gas Pipeline Operations

About the role

EnerMech is looking for a skilled Measurement Technician to join its team in Georgetown. You will ensure accurate measurement of gas flow, pressure, temperature, and volume for natural gas pipeline operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain gas measurement and metering systems, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, and temperature sensors.
• Perform routine calibration and verification of measurement equipment to meet industry standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve faults in measurement and instrumentation systems.
• Conduct proving and validation tests on gas meters and flow devices.
• Record, analyze, and report measurement data for operational use.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in measurement, instrumentation, or gas pipeline operations.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as API and AGA.

Required skills

• Installation and maintenance of flow meters, pressure transmitters, and temperature sensors.
• Calibration and verification of measurement equipment.
• Troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
• Proving and validation testing of gas measurement devices.
