Sales Executive – Heavy Machinery Solutions

About the role

As the Sales Representative for UMS Guyana, you will be the face of the SANY brand, delivering cutting‑edge equipment solutions to the country’s mining, oil & gas, and construction sectors. You will act as a trusted consultant, helping clients select the right fleet to maximise ROI and keep critical infrastructure moving.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across mining, oil & gas, and civil construction projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess environmental challenges and recommend tailored SANY solutions.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads using CRM tools.
• Perform product demonstrations and technical presentations for excavators, cranes, and port machinery.
• Prepare detailed commercial proposals, including Total Cost of Ownership and ROI analysis.
• Negotiate high‑value contracts and coordinate financing or leasing options with the finance team.
• Serve as primary client contact post‑sale, ensuring reliable after‑sales support.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing and product performance.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably in heavy machinery, automotive or industrial equipment.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Guyana’s mining and construction landscape.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to communicate with both site foremen and executive boards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management.
• Ability to deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Experience preparing Total Cost of Ownership and ROI analyses.
• Negotiation and contract closing expertise.
